We think happiness is real, ordinary work — and that it grows when you pass it on. This is who we are, and why we do it.
Who we are
A small society, close to the work.
We’re The Amazing Life Welfare Society, registered in 2022 in Zirakpur, Punjab. We’re not large. We’re run mostly by volunteers, students, and interns — people with jobs, classes, and families, who give the hours they can.
What we lack in size we make up for by being close to the work: we know the settlements we visit, the children we teach, and the streets we clean. Our name says what we believe — this life can be an amazing one, and the surest way to make it so is to add to someone else’s.
Where we are
Our booth is in Wadhawa Nagar, Dhakoli — most of our work happens within reach of it, across the parks, streets, and settlements of Zirakpur and S.A.S. Nagar.
What we believe
We believe in happiness — and that it’s meant to travel.
Our belief
The idea at the centre of everything we do is simple enough to fit on a banner, which is where we first put it: We Believe in Happiness. But we don’t mean the passive kind. We mean happiness as something you make — by teaching a child, planting a tree, running a health camp, speaking up on a street corner, sitting with a family the week is hard for.
Where it leads
एक दीये से अनेक — from one lamp, many.
One lamp can light another without losing any of its own flame. That’s the whole idea: warmth, passed on. As we grow, we intend to stay close to the ground — a local society doing local good.

The Amazing Life Welfare Society is registered in Zirakpur — Reg. No. 144 of 2022–23, under the Societies Registration Act (XXI of 1860).
Now
The work continues
Session by session, camp by camp, tree by tree — close to the ground, and glad of every hand that joins.
Who does the work
Ordinary people, mostly.
Our volunteers are students and working people. Our interns are young people spending a few weeks doing something real. A few dedicated members hold it together between events. No one here does this for status. They do it because it’s good, and because it’s oddly hard to stop once you’ve started.
The Society may name key members or the founder here, with their consent.
